When you say exceptional hospitality and exquisite amenities, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois immediately comes to our minds. The hotel has been around for over three centuries and therefore carries the richest traditions in Europe. The views of the Rhine are spectacular and restaurant Cheval Blanc, ran by Chef de Cuisine Peter Knogl are just two reasons why this hotel is perfect for a stay in Basel.
KaBar is located just opposite of Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois. We enjoy KaBar especially in the summer times, as their spacious and comfortable terrace provide a lovely sunny experience. Their motto is “”Eat at midday, drink in the evening and “snack attacks” the whole day”.
Another ‘must visit’ is Wiesengarten Musetti.Inspired by seasonal and market-fresh products, the Musetti family creates an honest Italian cuisine. The wine pairings from different regions enhance the experience and ensures an overall enjoyable experience.
We are fond of car’s and if you are too, make sure to visit Pantheon as they have Switzerland’s largest collection of vintage cars. Pantheon is located just outside of Basel, in Muttenz.
The aesthetically pleasing building Fondation Beyeler – designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano – is surrounded by an idyllic park. The museum houses 250 masterpieces of the Hildy and Ernst Beyeler collection and is definitely worth a visit.
